INTERVIEW
P.S. Why did you decide to go to Dakar?
Michal. I would never forgive myself if I missed such a great opportunity to visit a new continent! Obviously I did a small research about Dakar and I checked all things needed to go
there, such as a vaccine for yellow fever… Finally, after coming back I think I've made a great decision to go there.
P.S. How did you like the trip?
Michal. It was absolutely amazing! I love to discover new places in the world so it was really exciting for me! I think that it's super cool that I can travel so much thanks to skating. I would
never expect going to Africa.. That's incredible!
P.S. How did you find the skating level in Senegal?
Michal. Well I think it's very similar to other countries because there are a lot of skaters with different levels of skating. There are some guys who are just starting and some more advanced
skaters who can do few sevens and wheeling shifts!
P.S. What impressed you the most?
Michal. I was definitely impressed how cool skaters move to the music! They really feel the beat and they are not afraid to show it on skates! I recorded some videos there so stay tuned for that!
P.S. Do you plan to judge more in the new season?
Michal. I'm still about competing but I'm also very open for things like judging and doing some workshops. By judging competition I can get a lot of experience for the future and workshops are
great because I can share my skills and experience with other skaters.
