The first Italian prime event 2015 was held on June 12th - 14th in Monza. 75 skaters from 6 different countries arrived to the local circuit to compete in Freestyle Battle and Classic, Free Jump and Speed Slalom categories. However the weather was not so kind to the competitors. Some drops of rain forced the organization to use the back up solution for the following two days. Thanks to a high number of volunteers, the second place was ready for the competition to start on time on Saturday. This event was a real opportunity for many riders, especially for the juniors, to show and confirm their progress. Some of them made the most of this chance, bringing us some unexpected results!

P.S. You made the best overall result of the event! Are you happy with your performances? How did you like the event?

Lily. Of course I am very satisfied with my performances, I didn't expect such great results! I really enjoyed the event, it was my first time in Monza and the Italian vibe was amazing, although the weather is really hot!

P.S. Which victory was the hardest, Battle or Classic? And since when you are doing the Free Jump as well?

Lily. For me the Battle was harder because it was at the end of the competition, I was tired and all the girls were fighting for the victory, they all had a high level of tricks! I tried Free Jump in a French event in Pornichet just for fun but I don't practice, it's just a way to have more fun with other skaters during the competition!

P.S. Is there someone who impressed you during this event?

Lily. Barbara Bossi impressed me a lot because she is faster than ever, she is a real speed machine. She is a motivation for me and she pushes me to train more.

P.S. Did you train a lot before this competition?

Lily. Of course I prepared myself for this competition, especially in speed slalom and for my new classic, to practice in real conditions before the first international event of the year.

P.S. Do you plan to compete a lot this year? What are your goals for 2015?

Lily. I'll try to do as many events as possible this year and travel in Europe with my sister and the French team. First of all, I would like to keep my European title in Junior category in Speed Slalom and also my second place in Classic, then I would like to give my best during every competitions and try to improve my skills.

P.S. Do you have a final word for this interview? People you’d like to thank maybe?

Lily. I would like to thank the Menard's family for carrying me in Monza, the organization of the competition for this amazing event, Pierre Célat because he helped me to prepare myself for this event and of course my sister and my parents for always supporting me and making me travel more every year.
